I was really impressed by how well the rain just beaded right off the canopy during a sudden downpour, keeping everything underneath bone dry. The coverage is generous enough to shade the whole hammock without sagging in the wind. Perfect for extending a comfortable hang into unpredictable weather.

I was skeptical about how well it would block the sun, but the RoofKit’s fabric is surprisingly dense and kept our whole hangout perfectly shaded.

The setup took a bit of figuring out the first time, but once it's clipped on, the rain protection is solid and the shade is generous. A small instruction sheet would be nice.
